Frequently Asked Questions (2022)

Thank you for your interest in visiting us for our FIRST strawberry season in 2022!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to open our farm and share this special place with our community.

  • Where are we located?

2097 S Highway PP, Republic MO

Just off I-44 at exit 61, turn left at the exit- we're the first farm you'll come to on the right.

  • When are we opened?

Right now we are open based on the weather and field ripeness. It's best to check our facebook page or call our farm update line (417-647-1424) before coming out. We understand this makes planning a visit challenging...thanks for being patient as we navigate this first season.

  • Do you charge admission?

Our farm access pass is just $3.00 per person!

(Active Duty Military, Military Veterans, and children 3 and under are free)

A Farm access pass is required to enter our picking areas;

You also gain full access to the fenced-in 40 acres of farmland that we call "Missouri Berries". We have a 3.5 acre strawberry field, a 6 acre blueberry field, the "MO Berry Battles" activity area, a tiny library filled with farm-fun books, a walking storybook trail, photo ops, picnics tables throughout the farm, and more!

A farm access pass is NOT needed to visit our concession stand or farm store. Our farm store offers pre-picked berries(when available), honey, farm-fresh chicken and duck eggs, and shirts.

We do have porta-potties on site as well as hand washing stations.

  • Can we bring a picnic?

Yes! You may bring a picnic to enjoy on the farm. We do not allow food into the berry fields and we ask that you please make sure all trash makes it to the trashcan or recycle bin.

  • What do the berries cost ?

For 2022, our strawberry pricing is:

U-pick: 3.50 per pound*

Pre-Picked: 4.50 per pound*

*plus tax.

At this time, it will be first come first serve. We may utilize a call ahead/pre-order as the season progresses.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and cards. All card transactions have a 3% convenience fee

  • Is your farm pet friendly?

Due to USDA and Dept. of Agriculture guidelines on ffood safety, we do not allow any type of animals on our farm. Anyone with a service animal, as defined by ADA will be accommodated.

  • Do you have concessions?

We built our concession trailer this winter, just so we could offer you delicious donuts made fresh on the farm daily!

  • We will feature strawberry donuts this season!

Drinks include:

  • Lemonade

  • Strawberry lemonade

  • Frozen strawberry lemonade slushies!

  • Bottled water also available.

Love our donuts and slushies but don't want to spend time at the farm? That's ok!

Concessions are available without a farm access pass!

  • Where do we park?

We have a parking lot right up front! PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD!!

There is a separate entrance and exit gate, please pay close attention!

We can hold about 75 cars in our parking area, we do have a small grass lot available for over-flow.

  • What do I need to bring to pick berries?

We provide the picking flats that you use in the field!

Due to strict food safety guidelines, we can not allow you to bring your own picking containers into the field.

  • What do you wear to pick berries?

We recommend close-toed shoes, and NOT your Sundays best dress! This is a working farm that is completely outdoors. There is uneven ground, mud, and bugs!

Bug spray and sunscreen are encouraged.

  • Is this an organic farm?

We are not an organic farm! We pride ourselves on being a sustainable, eco-friendly, and healthy farm. We are considered conservative farmers on the spectrum of conventional to organic. We utilize an IPM (integrated pest management) program to reduce the need of synthetic pesticides (Pesticides=herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides).  While we keep things as natural as possible, we keep synthetics in our "toolbox" should the need arise.

  • Were we raised on a farm?

Nope! Josh grew up training horses, that was the extent of his farming venture as a kid. Danielle returned to college when we purchased the land and pursued a degree in Agriculture to get a better understanding of running the farm. She graduated in December 2021, Cum Laude, with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Plant Science with a focus on Horticulture and Sustainable Food Production from Missouri State University. She doesn't claim to know it all, but the degree gave her a foundation that has fueled her passion for sustainability in agriculture and healthy soils.

  • It's raining out, are you open?

Rain may delay the farm from opening or cause us to close early. Always check before coming out. We utilize our farm update line (417-647-1424‬) and facebook to keep everyone updated with daily changes.
